Time and space… to create!

Through ARTime, Laura Kneebone brings her love of art and the natural world together in a range of workshops, classes, and creative programs, all rooted in the landscapes of the Royal National Park.

Whether you're picking up a brush for the first time, looking to deepen your practice, or searching for the right creative program for your child, there's a place for you here.

Classes run across Bundeena, Maianbar, and various locations in the Royal National Park. Small, unhurried, and designed to help you connect with both the making and the place.

Art Adventures in the Park

Art Adventures in the Park takes you out into the Royal National Park to make work directly from the landscape. Led by Laura Kneebone, these outdoor sessions run across some of the park's most beautiful locations. From the foreshore at Maianbar, the village streets and coastline of Bundeena, quiet bush tracks, and open water views. Choose from Sketchbook Adventures, Plein Air Painting, or Park Impressions – each a different way to interact with the same extraordinary place.

Tailored Studio Sessions

Tailored Studio Sessions are private or small-group sessions with Laura, shaped around your goals, your medium, and where you are in your practice. Choose from painting courses and sessions in acrylics, oils, or watercolours, or explore the textures and marks of printmaking — lino, gelli, or screenprinting. Sessions are available for individuals or groups of up to four, with larger group and party bookings available at selected venues. Based in Maianbar in the Royal National Park — get in touch to discuss what would work best for you.

Children’s Art Classes

Children's Art Classes offer young artists a creative space to explore, experiment, and grow. Running in small groups of no more than twelve, each eight-week term takes children on a journey through a range of art media and techniques — drawing, painting, printmaking, and more — with projects inspired by current exhibitions and artists in context.

Laura brings the same curiosity and love of the natural world to her teaching as she does to her own practice, making these classes as much about developing a creative eye as learning new skills.

Art Education & Consultancy

Laura brings years of experience as both a practising artist and art educator to a range of consulting and program design services, working with schools, colleges, playgroups, and community organisations to develop meaningful creative programs. Whether you're looking to establish an ongoing art curriculum, design a one-off workshop series, or bring a fresh approach to creative education in your setting, Laura can tailor a program to suit your context, your learners, and your goals.

A highlight of this work is the annual Art in the Park program at Bundeena Maianbar Preschool — a showcase of what's possible when art education is rooted in place, nature, and genuine creative inquiry.
